Where are they now?

As we celebrated 20 years of the YEC in 2017, we surveyed past members about what the YEC meant to them and the results of the survey are summarised in this report. Some past members also agreed to be interviewed about the influence the YEC had on them as young people, and how it shaped who they are today.  Here are their stories.

The Youth Environment Council (YEC) of South Australia provides young people a voice in key environmental issues facing South Australia and gives them opportunities to take action to achieve a more environmentally sustainable future for SA.​
