2021 Program

TERM 1
School holidays: Monday 12 April
Mentor Training Day (YEC Mentors only), Adelaide

An opportunity for Mentors to develop mentoring and facilitation skills and assist with YEC event planning. 

TERM 2
Week 1: Thursday 29 April
Welcome Forum, Adelaide Hills
The first event for the new YEC Members. An opportunity for like minded students across the state to share, learn and be inspired about sustainability.

Online discussion forum: to be used throughout the year from the first event to the last event.

Week 3: Monday 10  - Wednesday 12 May
Two night camp, Adelaide Hills
  • Join in fun team building exercises and activities to develop your leadership skills.
  • Develop skills and knowledge on environmental and sustainability themes and ways to take action.
  • Work with other like-minded students to research areas of interest and develop a plan of action.

TERM 3
Date TBC
Regional catch up events, location and date are tailored to the YEC members and local events. 
An opportunity for YEC members to catch up with others living in their region. 


TERM 4
Week 8: Thursday 2 December
YEC Sharing and Celebration Forum, Adelaide CBD

Share and celebrate your environmental achievements, demonstrating your skills and knowledge in practice, and reflect on actions and changes as a group.

*Members are expected to get themselves to and from events.
*A small travel subsidy is available for students travelling more than 100km to Adelaide.
